Did you hear about static and dynamic IP address? Do you want manage your sourveillance system by web? In this video we talk about DDNS, Dynamic Domain Name System. This is a service managed by a server able to make sur user to manage his system by remote.

We just see how to choose the correct camera for personal necessity.

We check a tipycal situation and think to cover a firm gate. We need an outdoor camera able to work during the day and the night.
First of all we have to choose the best position for installation, considering light, weather and distance. So we can choose correct lens with this operation: distance x 4,8 divided gate width.

Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) is a last generation function that allows to increase images quality. This system (also known as SNR, Signal Noise Reduction) reduces signal noise and it is used in every field concerning images.
Obviously in cctv this function is very usefull cause it allows to have clear images also in difficoult conditions.

DVR (Digital Video Recorder) have already killed old tape recorder.
And evolution seems to be unstoppable.
Last compression standard is H.264 and it allows a compression double respect to previous MPEG4. This meens a bit rate lower than 1 to have an audio/video file in DVD quality. But it also meens smaller files and easier management.

In this video we talk about LCT DVR series, high performance and very easy use.
The small is LCTVR2304, four channels and one hard disk space.
LCTVR8304, LCTVR8308, LCTVR8316 have four, eight and sixteen channels and space for two hard disks.

Very usefull function is the possibility to stop the overwrite of specific files, so as compatibility with Windows 7, both with property software and with Internet Explorer 8.

Did you ever ask yourself the difference between a PC based DVR and a Stand Alone DVR?
PC based are faster to install, smaller and they can change your PC in a DVR, but you will not have the professional quality of HR DVR.
And you also have to consider the high cost to buy a server PC, able to be switched on 24 hours.

We saw in a previous video what is an IP system and how it works.
As we promised that day (and again yesterday) now we can try to see products composing HR IP system.
We divided products in two groups. The ones that can work without an IP connection, like DVR and Videoserver, and the ones that need an IP connection to work, like cameras and speed dome.
And then we have IP storage too.

We talked in previous videos about active infrared perimetral protections and passive infrared and microwaves volumetric protections.
Now just see some indications for correct installation. In video we start from active infrared barriers. They work on interruption of beams so they pay some interferences.
So put them where there are no trees or water, but also pay attention to moving surfaces or direct light.

You surely remind video about difference between PC based and traditional DVR.
Today we have a new option thanks to LCT DVR able to visualize directly on your mobile phone.
LCT line has two different category of product: LCTVR6104 is MPEG4, LCTVR8208 and LCTVR8216 are H.264.
In posts of products you will find all specifications but it is useful to remember VGA output, to use any PC monitor, and SATA hard disk, to substitute old PATA and IDE.

A short introdution about function, why they need transmitter and receiver, about infrared led and about differences between double and triple beams and multiple beams. How the firsts work and how the seconds work.

We saw what are active infrared protections and now we can watch what volumetric protections are.
This is the best known technology to protect a closed room and it is also the best to protect a zone of your house while you are living in an other zone.
Volumetric protection can work with microwaves or passive infrared.
But we also have sensors using both technologies togheter.

If you have to protect an outdoor zone, you have two principle problem: immunity from meteo condition and discrimination of external object, like trees or animals (pet immunity).

So it is very probable that HRSMT300 outdoor sensor is ideal for you.

First step: in Technical Office HR Europe engineers and technicians increase CCTV and Antintrusion product lines, they test products choosen all around the world (in particular way from Asian Countries), they ask necessary changes to adapt products to european market

Till few years ago all videosourveillance systems had their power on machines.
VHS, and then DVR, were the center of the system.
When network arrived (now we have in firms and private houses) moved the attention on software.Our software (you find it in all IP products) allows to use everything by own pc.
And you can also do everythig without disconnect from one product to connect to the next one.

Probably everyone knows how is composed a Speed Dome.
Two parts: a camera module and a mechanic structure to move this camera. PAN, TILT and ZOOM are the three specifications for each Speed Dome.
HR Speed Dome have SONY cameras with mechanic day/night and zoom at 18x (HRSD318), 26x (HRSD326) and 36x (HRSD336) and they are closed in an alluminium case with an antivandal polycarbonate dome.

As you probably know (if you are our customers) we have a new line of compact cameras, ones with 3D-DNR function.

In the video you can find the three new families, with particoular attention to the new function, that allows a very high resolution.
DX series, with CCD superhad 1/3″ SONY and 3D-DNR function to have a 550 tvl colour resolution and 600 tvl b/w.
TY series, that to previous features adds IR-CUT Filter (mechanic day/night).
WZ series, with a more evoluted 1/3″ CCD for a resolution of 600 tvl colour and 630 tvl b/w.

As you know we divided our compact cameras in X cameras, Y cameras and Z cameras.
Every group has three models different by lens. In every group you can find 2,8-12mm lens, 9-22mm lens and 5-50mm lens.

X series you already know. High resolution cameras with electronic day/night. Camera capture colour image and, if there is no light, processes image to give a black and white image.

Y series introduces True day/night. There is a filter behind the CCD,

Video Balun system is a signal converter that allows transmission of audio/video signal real
time black and white or color trough long distances using economic UTP CAT 5E or superior
cable.
System transforms video signal from out of balance 75 Ohm to a same one balanced 100 Ohm.
